Q. What is an affiliate program?
A. An affiliate program allows you (the affiliate) to promote jackpotjoy.com on your website. This can be by using banners, text links, email newsletters, promotional flash games and much more.
Then, when a user or member of your site clicks on the link they will come through to Jackpotjoy.com. If they then sign up and become a real money player you earn commission. It really is as simple as that!

Q: Why should I join the Jackpotjoy affiliate program?

Q. What does it cost to join?
A. Nothing. It is absolutely free to join the Jackpotjoy affiliate program.

Q. How much will I earn?
A. How much you earn is of course entirely up to you, it depends on how many players you refer to Jackpotjoy!
We have various payment schemes available for affiliates.

• Up to 45% lifetime revenue share
• Hybrid lifetime revenue share (20%) and CPA of £20.

Q. What is click-through (also called click)?
A. A click-through refers to the action a consumer takes when they are referred from one Web site through a link or advertisement and is taken to another Web site. Click-through ratio is the percentage of clicks for the number of advertising impressions displayed.

Q. Do you accept players from the United States?
A. No we don't accept players from the United States, we ask to refrain from promoting Jackpotjoy to a US audience.

Q. What is a unique visitor?
A. A unique visitor is one click per IP address, per program, per 24 hours. If a link is opened automatically on an affiliate site, regardless of the size of this window or the manner in which it is done, this is not defined as a valid click. Affiliates that generate illegal clicks, leads and sales will be denied and lose all commissions previously earned.

Q. What is an impression?
A. An impression is the viewing of an advertising banner, link, or product on the Internet.

Q. What is CPA - Cost per Acquisition
A. CPA is a metric for online advertising where a rate is set for every action that is taken by a user.

Q. What is conversion rate?
A. The conversion rate is the percentage of visitors who take a desired action from a click through. The action that determines conversion is determined by the advertiser and may be a sale on the advertiser's Web site, a completed lead form, or another action.

Q. What is Commission?
A. Commission can be a percentage of the sales value generated by your site, or, it can be a fixed fee.

Q. Can I reward my users? (Tradedoubler only)
A. The TradeDoubler EPI tracking features allows you to add an extension on your tracking links. However, rewarding your users is not an easy process. If you wish to be enabled for EPI, please contact Tradedoubler support.

Q. Are there any restrictions on the types of websites that affiliates have?
A. Yes. We do not accept websites that are pornographic or sites that promote illegal activity of any nature. Jackpotjoy reserves the right to remove sites with such content.

Q. How can I unsubscribe from you mailings? (Tradedoubler)
A. Please log into your TradeDoubler or account and click on "edit info". You can then remove yourself from our mailings. However you will no longer receive application or acceptance emails.

Q. My site is not live yet. Can I apply anyway?
A. You can apply; however we strongly recommend you upload a splash page or paragraph explaining what your site will feature and who you will target.

Q. Can an affiliate refer another affiliate?
A. Yes, if you are an affiliate with TradeDoubler or Jackpotjoy Affiliates and you are keen to benefit by referring other affiliates, you can do so. You will receive a small percentage of the referred affiliate’s earnings.

Q. Can I add more than one website?
A. Yes, there are two ways you can do this:

Simply add a new site in your profile.

TradeDoubler
1- You can register your sites separately once have logged in by clicking on "edit site info" and then "register another site". You will need to apply to all programs again; however you will be able to see how much revenue each site generates.
2- You can group all statistics together by simply clicking on "Edit site info", and once there just add any additional URLs in the "Site address" block. Enter your URLs on the single line, separated by commas with no spaces. You don't need to include every page, only the top level domains. i.e. http://www.mysite.com, http://www.mysecondsite.com

Q. Why have my stats not updated?
A. On some occasions you may notice that your stats have not updated. We assure that whilst your stats have not updated, sales, leads and clicks will always track. You will not lose commission during this period. Reporting delays may occur on these occasions:

Q. Invoicing - end of each month. (Tradedoubler)
A. During this period you can expect delays running in to several hours. The reason for the delay is due to the database locking and allowing Tradedoubler to create an "instance" of our clients invoice. During this time transactions from our tracking servers can not be committed to the database.

Q. Payment - middle of each month.
A. During this period you can expect delays running in to several hours. The reason for the delay is the processing power required by the database to create publisher payments, again, during his period we can not commit transactions to the database.

Q. Why do I see £20.00 sales in my reporting? (Tradedoubler)
A. When a Real Player registers and starts wagering, it is tracked as a £20.00 sale. Comission £20.00 = 1 Real player registration.

Q. I am testing my links and have registered to play for free but there are no new 'Leads' appearing in my reporting? (Tradedoubler)
A. A free to play player is registered once the player actually plays a game after having filled in the registration form, not upon completion of sign up form. It can also take up to 1 hour for new leads to appear in your reporting.

Q. I have registered to play for real and submitted my card details but there are no 'Sales' appearing in my reporting? (Tradedoubler)
A. A sale is registered once a play for real player has deposited and actually starts wagering and not upon completion of card details. And a real player registration is reflected in your reports as a £20.00 sale.

Q. Why can't I see the TD call back image when i've registered for free? (Tradedoubler)
A. The TradeDoubler callback image is called from the actual game window itself and it appears only the once per new free player.

Q. Why can't I link to the prize page using HTML code? (Tradedoubler)
A. You can, but Prize page linking code is only automated at TradeDoubler in Java Script, Iframe, Pop Up, Pop Under or Custom. If you want to use HTML code to link to the prize page please email affiliates@jackpotjoy.com for manual implementation instructions.

Q. I've sent through a real player but there are no Profit Share commissions appearing in my reporting?(Tradedoubler)
A. Monthly Profit share commission earnings are calculated from the 26th of the previous month to the 25th of the current month and will appear in your reporting before the end of the month. We recommend that you use £20.00 sales as a guide.
